BSMD Calibration Update 3/23 (Further updated, see below)

The big question for the calibration right now is whether or not to use the mean to characterize each p slice, and if not, what to use instead.  Closely related to this question is the questio

Condor installation on online Linux pool

Preparation questions for Condor installation:

1.  What machine will be the central manager?

Dijet Filter Performance

I created a dijet Filter using the StMCFilter framework. The filter classifies events into 3 categories: signal, could reconstruct as signal, background.

Speeding up DB access using SSD or Memory

This blog will contain a collection of information on IO tests for speeeding up database access using SSD drives or Ram based disk. A few background information will be provided.

Wednesday, 24 March 2010
BNL , at 13:00 (GMT), duration : 00:00

The morning session is in room 2-78 for 9-1 and 2-95 from 1-5

The  requirements meeting for the inner structures of the HFT/IST is scheduled for March 24 a Brookhaven, the day before the
FGT meeting also at BNL. The main point of the meeting is to work on the requirements, and move towards a final document that describes
requirements  for the Cone structures, services etc.I enclose here the suggestions from Eric what this meeting should entail.
As you can see it is primarily a working meeting geared towards a specific outcome.

Pre-meeting documents (pulled out from e-mail information). Docs may be added to page later.

2. Preliminary grounding documentation.
This should include the grounding plan for the subsystem including a
signal, power, power return and ground paths.
