 The gating grid has an effective voltage (the average voltage at all radii for z = 208.707 cm) which is different from the set voltage on the wires because of finite transparency of the grid.

Photon identification with the FMS and preshower layers PS1 and PS2 is studied for perfect detectors below, i.e. the cluster in the FMS is using the PYTHIA track direction.
