Brief Summary:
0) Attending: Olga, Helen, Bedanga, Bill, Jamie, Zhangbu, Nu
1) PV analysis is ready for GPC. Convener has already send a request to PAC later in the afternon.
2) People are waiting for embedding productions. Will be updated again in next meeting.
3) People from both places are commited for STAR ToF physics analysis. More students will join the effort. They have sizable computing
centers and need more help from STAR in order to use them effectively. They are planning to host a physics meeting in Nov. at UT Austin,
Prof. Jerry Hoffmann will lead the effort.
4) As of noon, Jan. 22nd, NO NEWS from QM09 LIC yet.
5) In addition to Run9 where, there are three important tasks in the first six months this year and we paln to carry out with the following arrangements:
(i) BUR Committee: Jamie will lead the effort. When discussed with Steve, he mentioned that the next BUR should be focused on Run10 and 11.
He was very hopful to have about 30 croy-weeks for Run 10. Helen metioned that the white paper for the BES will be relised from the STAR BES group soon.
(ii) HFT CD1&2 review: We had a meeting with Steve and Tom after the management meeting regarding to HFT project. We expect to have the CD1&2
review late July. Zhangbu wil lead the effort from the management.
(iii) QM09 conference: Bedanga will lead the effort.
