- Since the arrival of the Sti tracker, we folowed a path where two separate code development path, preserving the old code for backward compatibility and comparison pruposes. Sti is now our official tracker. Old code should be retired.
- The Sti cleanup has stopped due to the onset of new actibvities (SVT/SSD mainly). Several actions items and interface convenience and cleanup were discussed and needed but incomplete. Those include
- Algorithmic switches explicit based on detector geometry layers(if statements in core codes) rather than externally controllable. This does not allow for flexible framework.
