The STAR experiment

1) Start test(pre-) production using dev14. There is still
    a glitch in tracking but Jonathan is working on it and
    there are other things to check before tracking.

3) AOB, upcoming review

1) this past Monday Flemming/Jason/Jonathan and I had a
   meeting at BNL on geometry. Jonathan will summarize
   it...Btw he has some nice GEANT drawings of the detectors
   and support structures.
2) I am not sure if the LBL survey crews have amy updates but
   if yes then post your slides on the meeting's Drupal page.
3) I showed an updated draft of my OPA talk to Flemming and
   I am working on his comments. I will, very likely, post
   an updated draft by tommorow.

 

 We need to get updates on several aspects on the geometry + offline chain for the upcoming production.

1) Yesterday we had an EVO meeting (Jonathan, Jason, Flemming
   and I) on geometry.
2) This Sunday/Monday there is the HF Workshop and HFT meeting
   at UIC where we have four talks on status etc.

 

I have three items for the agenda, please send your

1) Blind production for Alignment software resolution estimate
   We will set it up in the UPG15 environment (unfortunately)
   for now. Jason will be the geometry modifier/keeper.
2) Jonathan presented his hit proposal for PXL, IST yesterday
   in the S&C meeting. There were comments we need to consider.
3) There are three HFT talks in an upcoming Heavy Flavor
   workshop at UIC plus the DOE-OPA review next month.

In the meantime I am in talks with Jerome to address some of
the Survery review issues. I also asked Strasburg people for
an update on CERN test analysis and its impact on DIGMAPS.
