Ben Barber's Poster for the DNP Meeting at MSU

Ben Barber, an undergraduate student at Valparaiso University worked on an energy calibration of the EEMC during the summer. Preliminary results of his work was presented to the EEMC group about 10 days ago. Based on the results presented, Ben will be presenting a poster at the undergraduate poster session of the DNP meeting at MSU. There are many unanswered questions on the results presented, the major question being: Why is the pi0 mass peak at a higher mass when all indications are that the gains were lower in 2009? We do not have an answer to this question at the moment, but there are some clues as to what is going on. Ben does not present any results. His poster is just a proof-of-principle of the method used for the calibration. We would like the approval of the EEMC group for Ben to present this poster.

There may be some mis-matching of fonts between the center section and the rest of the poster. This is because the poster was prepare as  pptx file, but I am posting it as a ppt file. When printed using the pptx version, fonts come out right.

Th STAR logo in the poster is of very low resolution. We are also looking for a high resolution STAR logo. I would appreciate if someone could suggest where to find one.

Please note that this is an undergraduate student poster, not a graduate student poster.
