Arguments for a smaller system BES

This ppt is a follow-up to the BES focus group meeting on Sept 22nd, 2014 when we talks about what follow-up studies might be warranted for BESII.

Following up on our discussion during the BES meeting, I put together a ppt
with some arguments in support of a "smaller system BES". Please see the

One comment; It might be best to refer to these ideas as "follow-up studies" instead of BESIII. I think the narrative should sound something like

Is there anything interesting down there to look at -> BESI

Yes we see several non-monotonic signals consistent with anomalies in the p ressure. We need to follow up with BESII to understand what is happening -> BESII

If you think you've discovered something really interesting (e.g. critical point), what will you do? In case of something that exciting, we have some follow-up studies we'd like to carry out -> Smaller System BES, other energies
