Run3(dAu) - Run6(pp) Run8(pp-dAu) HT-2 data comparison and correlation plots

Some basic plots : Run 3 (dAu) :  HT-2  trigger threshod > 4.5GeV (Id: 2202)

QA plots for dAu 2003 data for HT-2  trigger threshold > 4.5 (2202)

 

 

Some basic plots : Run  6(pp) :  HT-2  trigger threshod > 5GeV (Id: 117211)

 

Some basic plots : Run 8 (dAu) :  HT-2  trigger threshod > 4.3 GeV  (Id: 210521)

 

Some basic plots : Run 8 (pp) :  HT-2  trigger threshod > 4.3 GeV/c (Id: 2202)

 

 

 

For Charge Tracks cuts for pp dAu (Run 6 3) with dca <1,  no. of fit pionts > 20,  |eta |<1

For Charge Tracks cuts for pp dAu (Run 8) with dca <1,  no. of fit pionts > 15,  |eta |<1

BEMC clustes with no charge tracks falling on maximum tower  of the cluster is being considered.

E_T of the clusters is taken within 6.5-18.5 GeV/v

 

pT eta and phi ditributions of the HT-clusrers and the TPC tracks, a comparison for pp and dAu is given:

 

 

 

Run 8 (pp dAu)

 

 

 

Correlation plots for Run3 Run 6 (pp dAu)

dAu : RED

pp :Black

 Correlation plots for  Run 8 (pp dAu)

 

 

The main difference appears in the correlation plots id the yield of pp and dAu.

Run-8-dAu is higher compared to Run-8-pp

Run-3 dAu is lower compared to Run-6-pp

 

We have used HT-2 only having almost the same trigger theshold.
