Update 03.24.2019 -- Run 9 embedding: particle-level pTtrk distributions for pi0 and hadron triggers

The above post compared the (away side) pTtrk embedding distributions for pi0 and charged hadron triggers. But what do the corresponding particle-level distributions look like?

So there IS a difference! And this is something I'd expect: the pi0 trigger has only pi0's, but the hadron trigger includes all sorts of secondaries. And, quite tantalizingly, the differences resemble those seen between the Pythia8 and embedding charged jet spectra:

It would seem to me that these differences are NOT due to a mistake in our parameterization of the response, but due to our choice of trigger.  But of course, this begs the question "what are we going to do about it?"
