That post compared the (away side) embedding pTtrk distributions for pi0 triggers against charged hadron triggers at the detector level, but with the wrong scale factors. Here's the away side pTtrk distribution for both RFF and FF using the correct scale factors.

So the pi0 statistics are still so poor that you can't really get a feel for any differences. In light of that, I'm going to check the corresponding particle-level distributions.
