Anderson, Derek -- ISMD2019 Poster

This is the poster I'll be presenting at the 2019 International Symposium on Multiparticle Dynamics (September 9th - 13th in Santa Fe).  Comments and suggestions are welcome!

  • Version 0: initial draft.  References and some plots are placeholders.
  • Version 1: implemented suggestions from Saskia.  The corrected direct-photon spectrum plot will be updated soon; I intend to make it stylistically consistent with the corrected pi0 spectrum plot.
  • Version 2: updated the corrected direct-photon spectrum plot.  I made 2 versions: version (a) keeps the color scheme of the original pi0 result, and version (b) changes the color scheme of the original pi0 result.  In both cases, I changed the original pi0's axes' titles to reflect my nomenclature.  Likely, in the spirit of keeping the original pi0 result as close to the original presentation as possible, I'll go with version (a).
  • Version 3: implemented suggestions from Hanseul.  I opted to replace the new TSP plot with an old preliminary version from Nihar (so we have less plots to approve).
  • Version 4: I opted to delete the plot of the BSMD to make the "STAR and Neutral Triggers" less crowded, added some text in the "Jet Reconstruction" to specify that we remove the hardest jet from the rho estimation, and adjusted the margins between the text boxes to make them consistent.
  • Version 5: implemented suggestions from Kolja and Raghav.  Text was pared down to allow for larger font size.
  • Version 6: implemented suggestions from Raghav and Saskia.  Added list of systematics and made text on Pythia plot more visible.
  • Version 7: added finalized plots (which implement suggestions from Helen) to "Corrected Spectra."  Time permitting, the only thing that will change is the recoil jet diagram.
  • Version 8: implemented suggestions from Raghav and Hanseul.
  • Version 9: cleaned up surface bias plots.  In the interest of time, I opted not to change the recoil jet diagram.
  • Version 10: implemented suggestions from Zhenyu.
  • Version 11: implemented suggestions from Zhenyu.
